
Faisal bin Farhan discusses regional developments with the foreign ministers of Türkiye and Pakistan
As part of the ongoing diplomatic efforts led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to promote regional security and peace, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a series of high-level telephone calls on Friday with his counterparts in the Republic of Turkey and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, focusing on the rapidly evolving situation in the region.
Saudi-Turkish talks and joint coordination
His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs began his diplomatic efforts with a telephone call to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, Hakan Fidan. During the call, the two sides discussed in depth the latest developments in the region and the efforts being made to contain current tensions. This call comes within the context of growing Saudi-Turkish relations, which have witnessed remarkable development in recent years, as Riyadh and Ankara are keen to maintain coordination and consultation on critical issues of concern to the Islamic world and the region.
