Noor system: Students' grades are monitored daily, results will be released on Thursday

Coinciding with the start of the first semester exams this morning, Sunday, schools across all regions and governorates of Saudi Arabia began the daily monitoring of student grades through the "Noor" electronic system. This step is part of the regulatory procedures approved by the Ministry of Education to ensure data accuracy and enhance transparency, as grades are entered immediately upon completion of marking, allowing for immediate monitoring of academic performance.

Monitoring and Results Announcement Mechanism

The daily grade updates cover all grade levels targeted by the written exams, from the third grade of primary school to the third grade of secondary school. This mechanism aims to enable students and parents to continuously monitor academic progress day by day through their accounts on the system, without having to wait until the end of the exam period. Final data entry and official release of results and certificates are scheduled for next Thursday, coinciding with the conclusion of the second-term exams, thus saving families the trouble of visiting schools in person to collect paper notifications.

Noor System: A qualitative leap in the history of Saudi education

The Noor system is one of the most prominent technological projects launched by the Ministry of Education in recent years, representing a qualitative leap in the history of educational administration in the Kingdom. Before its implementation, grade recording and certificate issuance relied on paper records and decentralized systems, which were time-consuming and laborious. Today, the system serves as a massive central database linking all schools in the Kingdom to the Ministry, providing a comprehensive academic record for each student from enrollment to graduation. This facilitates transfers, admissions, and registration processes, and safeguards academic rights electronically.

Alignment with the Kingdom's Vision 2030

These advanced measures align with the goals of Vision 2030, specifically the National Transformation Program, which focuses on digitizing government services and enhancing performance efficiency. Real-time electronic monitoring strengthens the partnership between schools and families, transforming parents from passive recipients of final results into active participants in the testing process, thus improving the quality of educational outcomes. This approach also reflects the Ministry's commitment to maximizing the benefits of the Kingdom's robust digital infrastructure.

Technical support and easy access

In a related development, the Ministry of Education confirmed the readiness of its technical teams to ensure system stability during the anticipated period of high traffic this week. The Ministry urged users experiencing login difficulties to utilize the readily available password recovery options accessible via email or the mobile phone number registered in the system, emphasizing that all services are prepared to serve millions of students and parents smoothly and efficiently.
