Government conference: Ministers of Information, Municipalities and SDAIA review achievements

All eyes will be on Riyadh tomorrow, Monday, for the regular government press conference, a key platform for communication between officials and citizens, to review the latest developments and national achievements. The conference will host His Excellency the Minister of Media, Mr. Salman bin Yousef Al-Dossari; His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail; and His Excellency the President of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), Dr. Abdullah bin Sharaf Al-Ghamdi.

This conference comes in the context of the Saudi government’s keenness to promote the principle of transparency and direct communication, as the Minister of Information is scheduled to address the most prominent national developments and recent decisions, highlighting the rapid development movement that the Kingdom is witnessing on various levels, reflecting the progress made in the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 programs.

In a vital area affecting a broad segment of society, His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Mr. Majid Al-Hogail, will present a strategic plan concerning the transformation of the third (non-profit) sector within the municipalities and housing system. This aspect is of paramount importance given the state's focus on empowering the non-profit sector to be an active contributor to economic and social development, particularly in providing developmental housing solutions for the most vulnerable groups and enhancing community participation in improving the urban landscape.

For his part, His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, President of SDAIA, will address the pivotal role of technology in enhancing humanitarian work, focusing on the use of data and artificial intelligence in the Ihsan platform. This step represents a qualitative leap in managing charitable work, as advanced technologies contribute to increasing the efficiency of donations, ensuring their accurate delivery to those in need, and enhancing reliability and transparency in the charitable sector, making the Ihsan platform a leading digital model in the region.

The gathering of these officials under one umbrella reflects the government's integration of the media, housing, and technology sectors to achieve quality of life goals and digital transformation. The conference is expected to garner significant attention, given the importance of the topics discussed and their direct impact on citizens' daily lives and the future of development and charitable work in the Kingdom.
