Al-Sani’ discussed his thesis, titled “The Role of Strategic Planning and Digital Transformation in the Performance of Sports Clubs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ,” before a distinguished audience of academics and specialists. This study is of paramount importance at this time, coinciding with the qualitative leap the sports sector in the Kingdom is witnessing. Digital transformation and strategic planning are no longer merely theoretical concepts; they have become fundamental pillars of the governance and privatization standards currently being implemented by the Ministry of Sports.
The message highlights how to leverage modern digital tools to enhance the operational efficiency of clubs, transforming them from mere traditional sports institutions into professional investment entities capable of competing locally and continentally, in line with the requirements of the Asian Football Confederation and the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA).
