Saudi Arabia provides aid to 4 countries: Medical and food services through the King Salman Center

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center , continues to solidify its global standing as one of the leading donors of relief aid. Saudi Arabia's benevolent efforts have extended to provide vital medical and food services in four countries: Jordan, Yemen, Lebanon, and Brazil. These initiatives are part of the Kingdom's ongoing strategy to support affected populations and alleviate the suffering of refugees and those in need around the world.

Comprehensive healthcare for Syrian refugees in Jordan

As part of its longstanding commitment to addressing the Syrian crisis, the clinics affiliated with the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center intensified their efforts in the Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan. During October 2025, the clinics provided services to 11,934 patients, reflecting the significant need for healthcare within the camps.

The services provided were diverse, encompassing various medical specialties. General medicine clinics received 4,510 patients, while internal medicine clinics focused on 564 patients with chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma. The clinics also addressed children's health, treating 1,507 children, in addition to providing care for 689 patients in the dental clinic. Furthermore, services included conducting over 15,000 laboratory tests, administering vaccinations, and providing health education sessions, all of which contribute to enhancing health security within the camp and preventing disease outbreaks.

Supporting the health sector in Yemen: Addressing epidemics and emergencies

In Yemen, the center continued its vital support to the struggling health sector, with clinics at the Al-Ja'ada Health Center in Hajjah Governorate providing services to 7,749 beneficiaries during November 2025. The emergency clinic was the most active, receiving 3,823 cases, demonstrating the center's crucial role in saving lives in remote areas. Specialized services were also provided for epidemic control and women's and maternity care.

In parallel, mobile medical clinics in the Razih district of Saada governorate continued to provide services to 864 beneficiaries, focusing on combating epidemic diseases and emergency cases, and providing necessary medicines to hundreds of patients, in a step aimed at containing diseases in their infancy before they spread.

Urgent relief in Lebanon: ambulance and food

In Lebanon, Saudi aid has ranged from medical to food support. The ambulance service of the "Subul al-Salam" Association, funded by the center, carried out 38 ambulance missions in the Minieh region, benefiting Syrian refugees and the host community, thus alleviating the burden on the Lebanese health sector.

Regarding food security, the center distributed 1,269 food baskets and a similar quantity of date cartons in the city of Tyre, benefiting 6,345 individuals. This aid comes at a critical time to support the most vulnerable families amidst the difficult economic conditions.

Aid arrives in South America

The efforts were not limited to the Arab region, but extended to the Republic of Brazil, where the center distributed 1,000 kilograms of dates in the northern states of Amazonas and Rondônia. This is part of a program to distribute 200 tons of dates, underscoring the global reach of the Kingdom's humanitarian mission and its commitment to building bridges of cooperation and supporting food security in friendly countries across different continents.
