Dates and regulations for travel permits for breaking the fast in the Two Holy Mosques during Ramadan 1447

The General Authority for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques announced the opening of applications for permits to provide iftar meals for fasting individuals within the Two Holy Mosques during the holy month of Ramadan 1447 AH. This initiative comes as part of a strategic partnership with the national charitable platform "Ihsan" and the "Nusk" humanitarian foundation, aiming to organize this important ritual according to the highest standards of quality and corporate governance.

Application deadlines

The authority clarified the details of the timetable for receiving applications, dividing them between individuals and non-profit organizations to ensure the smooth flow of procedures. The dates were as follows:

  • Individuals: Applications for the Grand Mosque will be accepted from the 3rd to the 5th of Sha’ban, and for the Prophet’s Mosque from the 6th to the 8th of Sha’ban.
  • Non-profit organizations: Applications for the Grand Mosque will be accepted from the 6th to the 8th of Sha'ban, and for the Prophet's Mosque from the 9th to the 11th of Sha'ban.

Controls and payment mechanism

The authority has established precise regulations, allowing individuals to book only one trip containing either 25 or 50 meals per day. For non-profit organizations, the minimum is set at 10 trips for the men's section and 10 trips for the women's section. Payment is processed electronically and exclusively through the "Ihsan" platform within 72 hours of submitting the request. The price of each meal includes all operational and service costs incurred by the approved companies.
