Innoprom Saudi Arabia Exhibition in Riyadh: Strengthening Russian Industrial Partnership

The Saudi capital, Riyadh, is preparing to host a major economic and industrial event. Organizers of the "Innoprom Saudi Arabia" International Industrial Trade Fair have announced that the exhibition will take place at The Arena from February 8th to 10th. This event will serve as a pivotal platform, bringing together industry leaders and decision-makers to strengthen trade and investment cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Russian Federation.
A massive Russian presence and advanced technologies
Amidst widespread anticipation from economic circles, the exhibition is witnessing an unprecedented Russian participation, with over 200 companies spread across a 6,000 square meter exhibition space. The Russian delegation aims to showcase the latest innovations in vital sectors including machinery manufacturing, metallurgical engineering, digital transformation, smart city technologies, energy and transportation solutions, as well as advanced mining equipment.
The list of participants includes names of Russian industry giants such as Rostec, the nuclear energy corporation Rosatom, and the space agency Roscosmos, along with regional pavilions representing Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Tatarstan, reflecting the industrial and geographical diversity of Russian capabilities.
In line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030
This event holds particular strategic importance within the framework of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to diversify income sources and reduce dependence on oil by developing advanced industries and attracting foreign investment. The extensive Saudi participation in the exhibition, led by the Ministry of Investment, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, and the "Invest in Saudi Arabia" platform, demonstrates the Kingdom's commitment to building strong international partnerships that support the national industrial strategy.
The exhibition is expected to contribute to the transfer of knowledge and the localization of advanced Russian technologies within the Kingdom, which will enhance the capabilities of the local industrial sector and open new horizons for export to the markets of the Middle East and North Africa, in line with officials’ statements about the importance of making the Kingdom a regional center for manufacturing industries.
A history of mutual cooperation
This collaboration is not a recent development, but rather an extension of growing economic ties. The Innoprom trade fair has been held annually in Yekaterinburg, Russia, for over 15 years. The 2025 edition saw Saudi Arabia selected as a partner country, participating with a high-level delegation and a large pavilion, thus paving the way for this successful event to be held in Riyadh for the first time outside of Russia.
A packed agenda and prominent leaders
The exhibition program includes more than 10 key events, including panel discussions and B2B meetings, culminating in a main plenary session titled “Investing in the Future: Innovation and Industrial Cooperation.” The event will also feature high-level ministerial attendance, including Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih, Saudi Minister of Industry Bandar Al-Khorayef, and their Russian counterpart Anton Alikhanov, underscoring the political and economic significance of this gathering.
Those interested in the business and industry sector can visit the exhibition and participate in its activities by registering through the official website of the event, to learn about the latest investment opportunities and build long-term strategic partnerships.
