The head of the Grievance Bureau inspects the city's courts and addresses beneficiaries' requests

As part of his ongoing inspection tours to ensure the judicial process adheres to the highest quality standards, His Excellency Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Yousef, President of the Board of Grievances and Chairman of the Administrative Judiciary Council, conducted a comprehensive field visit to judicial facilities in the Madinah region. The visit included a direct assessment of operations at both the Administrative Court and the Administrative Court of Appeal, with the aim of enhancing the efficiency of the judicial system and ensuring the quality of services provided to litigants and beneficiaries.

A field visit and close monitoring of the work progress

Dr. Al-Yousef began his visit with an inspection tour of the courtrooms and halls, where he closely observed the judicial and administrative processes. The tour was not limited to theoretical aspects but also included an examination of the technical equipment and logistical services provided to ensure the smooth flow of procedures. This review aims to facilitate the user's journey within the court system and reduce litigation time, which is central to the Court's strategy for digital transformation and improving judicial outcomes.

Meetings with judicial leaders and strategic directives

On the sidelines of the visit, His Excellency the President of the Court held an extensive meeting with Their Excellencies the heads of the courts, judges, and staff of the Court in the Madinah region. During the meeting, Dr. Al-Yousef commended the efforts exerted by the judicial and administrative personnel in achieving swift justice, urging everyone to redouble their efforts. He emphasized that sustaining and developing the work to meet national aspirations requires diligent and continuous work, stressing the importance of adhering to the legally mandated timeframes for adjudicating cases.

Activating the "open door" policy and listening to beneficiaries

In line with the principle of transparency and the "open door" policy adopted by the wise leadership, Dr. Al-Yousef met with a number of beneficiaries who had booked appointments in advance through the dedicated online service on the Diwan's digital portal. This step represents a practical application of technology to facilitate direct human interaction between officials and citizens.

His Excellency listened attentively to the citizens' requests, suggestions, and complaints directly, immediately directing the relevant authorities to take the necessary legal measures regarding each request. He emphasized in this context that serving the beneficiary and ensuring that rights are delivered to their rightful owners is not merely a job duty, but rather the fundamental purpose and ultimate goal of the judicial system.

The importance of administrative justice in light of the Kingdom's Vision 2030

These inspection visits are of particular importance given the ongoing development of the judicial system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as part of Vision 2030. The Board of Grievances, as the body responsible for administrative justice, is a cornerstone in upholding rights and promoting the principles of justice, transparency, and accountability of government entities. Such field visits contribute to unifying judicial interpretations, boosting staff morale, and ensuring the application of the highest governance standards in administrative courts, which positively impacts the investment and legal environment in the Kingdom.
