Successful Hajj season 1445: Minister of Islamic Affairs congratulates the leadership

Congratulations on the great success of the Hajj season

His Excellency the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh, extended his warmest congratulations and blessings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect them, on the outstanding success of the 1445 AH Hajj season. His Excellency affirmed that this achievement reflects the exceptional care and continuous attention that the wise leadership devotes to serving the pilgrims and providing them with every means of comfort and tranquility to perform their rituals in a safe and spiritually enriching environment.

Historical background of serving the Two Holy Mosques

Since its founding by King Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been honored with the service of the Two Holy Mosques and the care of their visitors. Organizing the Hajj, which attracts millions of Muslims from around the world annually, is one of the largest and most logistically complex human gatherings. Over the decades, the Kingdom has invested enormous resources in developing the infrastructure of the holy sites, witnessing historic expansions of the Grand Mosque in Mecca and the Prophet's Mosque in Medina, as well as the construction of modern road, bridge, and rail networks, such as the Al-Mashaaer Al-Mugaddassah Metro, to facilitate the movement of pilgrims and ensure their safety.

The importance of the season's success and its global impact

The success of the Hajj season has an impact not only locally, but also across the entire Muslim world. Locally, this success reinforces the Kingdom's position as a leader of the Islamic world and embodies its religious and historical commitment. Internationally, it sends a powerful message about the Kingdom's ability to manage crises and massive gatherings with efficiency and competence, thus enhancing its positive global image. More than 1.8 billion Muslims around the world follow the Hajj rituals, and its successful organization is a source of pride and reassurance for them all, confirming that the fifth pillar of Islam is performed in a safe and well-organized environment.

Integration of efforts and the Kingdom's Vision 2030

Minister Al-Sheikh noted that the smooth flow of pilgrims, integrated services, and high level of preparedness and organization witnessed this season are a result of God's grace first and foremost, followed by sound planning and close coordination among all sectors of the government. This success stems from the leadership's keen interest in developing the Hajj and Umrah system and achieving the objectives of the "Guests of God Service Program," one of the most important programs of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which aims to enhance the quality of services provided to pilgrims and Umrah performers, facilitate their spiritual journey, and provide a unique and safe spiritual experience.

Prayers for goodness and blessings

In closing, His Excellency the Minister of Islamic Affairs prayed to God Almighty to protect the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Crown Prince, and to reward them abundantly for their tremendous efforts in serving Islam and Muslims. He also asked God Almighty to perpetuate the security, stability, and prosperity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to accept the Hajj of the pilgrims, and to bring this blessed occasion back to the Muslim Ummah with goodness, blessings, and prosperity.
