Maritime Gateway of the Two Holy Mosques

Jeddah Islamic Port occupies a prominent strategic and historical position as the main maritime gateway to the Two Holy Mosques. For decades, the port has played a pivotal role in receiving millions of pilgrims, serving as the vital artery connecting those heading to the Holy Mosque in Mecca. These extensive preparations are a continuation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's historical role in serving the guests of God and harnessing all logistical capabilities to ensure their comfort.

Vision 2030 and the Guests of God Service Program

These ongoing efforts are part of achieving the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, specifically through the "Guests of God Service Program," which aims to bring about a qualitative leap in the Hajj and Umrah experience. By developing the infrastructure of ports and airports and utilizing digital transformation in passport and customs procedures, the Kingdom seeks to facilitate access to the Two Holy Mosques, increase the capacity to receive pilgrims, and provide the highest levels of service befitting the Kingdom's Islamic stature.

Integrated efforts to serve pilgrims

Preparations extend beyond passport control, encompassing a comprehensive system that includes the Ports Authority, Customs, the Ministry of Health, and security agencies, all working in perfect harmony to ensure the smooth flow of traffic within the port. The Ramadan season is one of the most busy periods, necessitating heightened readiness to expedite procedures without compromising security or health protocols.
