The Karam Association's Ramadan Quran Memorization Course kicks off in Rafha

The Rafha Governorate in the Northern Borders Region witnessed a remarkable surge in Quranic activity at the start of Ramadan, with the Karam Association for Quran Memorization announcing the enrollment of 2,065 male and female students in its intensive Ramadan course. This initiative reinforces the prominent role of Quranic study circles, which become remarkably active during the holy month. The course is being held in 19 mosques throughout the governorate and its affiliated centers, reflecting the significant public interest and commitment to utilizing this month for learning the Book of God.
These Quranic courses are of paramount importance in the local and broader Islamic context, as Ramadan is the peak season for engaging with the Holy Quran through recitation, memorization, and contemplation. Quranic study circles in mosques are an integral part of the cultural and religious identity of Saudi Arabia, contributing to the upbringing of generations based on virtuous moral values and providing a safe and nurturing environment for young men and women, helping them utilize their time in ways that benefit them both spiritually and worldly.
In detailing the current course, the Karam Association explained that the program is designed to meet the needs of various groups and levels, primarily aiming to enable students to review the Holy Quran and correct their recitation. To maximize benefit, the course is divided into eight diverse learning tracks, each covering specific parts (1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25), in addition to a track dedicated to reviewing the entire Quran. This allows participants to choose the track that best suits their abilities and prior memorization.
Through these various programs, the association aims to enhance students' mastery of memorization and improve their vocal and recitation skills, thus contributing to the graduation of distinguished Quranic scholars. This meticulous organization is part of the seasonal programs that the association has consistently held annually during Ramadan, continuing its noble mission of teaching the Book of God and facilitating its learning for the people of the province and its centers, and promoting the care of the Holy Quran in terms of memorization, recitation, and contemplation, in line with the Kingdom's significant efforts in serving the Quran and its people.
