Upon his arrival at King Abdulaziz International Airport, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques was received by His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Makkah Region, and a number of civilian and military officials, where the usual reception ceremony was held for His Majesty, reflecting the status and prestige of the Saudi leadership.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' visits to Jeddah are of particular importance, given the city's strategic and historical significance as the gateway to the Two Holy Mosques and the summer seat of the Saudi government.
