Hajj season success: King Salman praises the efforts made
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques praises the success of the 1445 Hajj season despite regional challenges
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, praised the outstanding efforts of all participating entities in serving the pilgrims, which directly contributed to the success of the 1445 AH Hajj season . This came during the annual reception he held at the Royal Court in Mina Palace, in the presence of senior officials, leaders of Islamic countries, and heads of delegations. King Salman emphasized that this success comes despite the difficult circumstances and challenges facing the region, reflecting the Kingdom's unwavering ability to provide the highest levels of security and comfort for the pilgrims.
Exceptional efforts culminated in the success of the Hajj season
This achievement was not a coincidence, but rather the result of a comprehensive system involving both military and civilian sectors of the state. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah harnessed the latest technologies to facilitate the pilgrims' journey, from issuing electronic visas and the "Nusk" application, which provides integrated guidance services, to the smart Hajj card. On the health front, the Ministry of Health mobilized its medical teams and field hospitals to provide immediate care for any emergency, while security forces, in all their branches, worked around the clock to ensure the smooth flow of movement in the holy sites and to safeguard the millions of pilgrims.
Hajj throughout history: A symbol of unity and defiance
Hosting and caring for the Hajj is a great historical responsibility that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been honored to undertake since its founding. Throughout the ages, organizing this massive gathering of millions has presented a unique logistical and security challenge. As the fifth pillar of Islam, the Hajj brings together Muslims from all corners of the earth, with their diverse languages and cultures, in one place and at one time. The ability to manage these crowds and provide them with essential services such as food, drink, healthcare, and transportation reflects the tremendous development in capabilities and expertise that the Kingdom has accumulated over decades in serving the pilgrims.
Dimensions of success and its impact on the international stage
The success of organizing the Hajj resonates far beyond the local level, reaching regional and international horizons. Domestically, this success reinforces national pride and underscores the efficiency of Saudi governance. On the Islamic level, it solidifies the Kingdom's position as the beating heart of the Muslim world, capable of hosting and caring for its holiest rituals. Internationally, this annual achievement sends a powerful message of stability and efficiency, enhancing the Kingdom's positive image as an organized and responsible nation, capable of successfully managing the world's largest human gathering, even amidst complex geopolitical circumstances.
