The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center was established in 2015 under the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to serve as the Kingdom's humanitarian arm in providing assistance to affected communities worldwide without discrimination. Since its inception, the Center has implemented hundreds of projects in dozens of countries, with a particular focus on providing food security, healthcare, and shelter in conflict and disaster zones. In addition to food baskets, the center’s central kitchen in Gaza continued to provide hot meals, distributing 24,800 complete meals in the central and southern parts of the Gaza Strip, benefiting 24,800 people.
