This aid comes at a time when Yemen is facing complex economic and humanitarian challenges, with UN reports indicating that millions of Yemenis are in urgent need of food assistance. Alongside food aid, the center paid special attention to winter needs, distributing 557 shopping vouchers in the Shibam district, enabling 557 displaced individuals to purchase suitable winter clothing. This support comes as part of the "Kanaf" winter clothing distribution project, a unique initiative aimed at protecting displaced families from the harsh cold. The project gives beneficiaries the freedom to choose clothing that suits them through the shopping vouchers, thus preserving their dignity and supporting local commerce.
