King Salman Center clinics provide aid to 1,098 Yemenis in Hajjah – November statistics
The mobile medical clinics of the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid continued to provide their treatment and health care services to beneficiaries in Abs District, Hajjah Governorate, Yemen, as part of the ongoing efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to alleviate the suffering of the brotherly Yemeni people and support the health sector, which faces great challenges.
Recent statistics revealed that the clinics received 1,098 beneficiaries during November 2025, with the services provided encompassing various vital medical specialties. The clinic for the treatment and control of infectious diseases topped the list, receiving 550 beneficiaries—a figure that reflects the critical importance of these clinics in monitoring and containing epidemics before they spread, particularly in areas suffering from weak sanitation and clean water infrastructure.
In other healthcare services, the emergency clinic received 145 patients, providing them with first aid and urgent interventions, while the internal medicine clinic saw 328 patients seeking consultations and treatments for chronic and acute illnesses. Services also included a reproductive health clinic, and 74 people benefited from the health awareness and education clinic, which plays a pivotal role in raising community health awareness for disease prevention.
Regarding support services, 275 people benefited from nursing services, and free medication was dispensed to 934 individuals, contributing to easing the financial burden on Yemeni families amidst the difficult economic conditions. Additionally, 24 patients visited the surgery and dressing clinic, and nine medical waste disposal activities were carried out to ensure the safety of the surrounding environment.
These services are of paramount strategic importance given the humanitarian situation in Hajjah Governorate, particularly in Abs District, which hosts a large number of internally displaced persons. These mobile clinics serve as a lifeline to remote and besieged areas, where the health system in Yemen has suffered severe deterioration due to years of conflict, making access to basic healthcare extremely difficult for millions of Yemenis.
This ongoing support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre reflects the leading role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in international humanitarian work, and its constant commitment to standing by the Yemeni people in their plight, by providing health and food security, and ensuring the continuity of medical services for the most needy groups, which contributes to saving lives and improving the quality of life in the affected areas.
