Using technology to serve Islamic heritage
The International Exhibition and Museum of the Prophet's Biography is a world-class scientific landmark, utilizing virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and giant 4DX cinematic screens to showcase the details of the Prophet Muhammad's life, as well as Mecca and Medina during his time, offering visitors a realistic and immersive experience of historical events. The visit of His Royal Highness the Deputy Governor of the region underscores the importance of integrating tradition with modernity in presenting Islamic content and ensuring the continued development of this prominent cultural landmark.
Strategic dimensions and their impact on Vision 2030
This event holds particular significance within the broader national context, as it directly contributes to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, specifically the "Serving the Guests of God" program. Through these projects, the Kingdom aims to enrich the journey of pilgrims, Umrah performers, and visitors, ensuring that their visit extends beyond simply performing rituals to encompass a profound cultural and intellectual experience that deepens their understanding of authentic Islamic history.
On the international level, the museum plays a pivotal role in correcting misconceptions about Islam and presenting the bright image of the true religion based on tolerance and moderation, through its content translated into multiple international languages, making it a bridge for cultural communication between peoples.
The visit concluded with His Highness Prince Saud bin Nahar affirming the great support that the wise leadership - may God support it - gives to everything that serves the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors, praising the efforts made in the exhibition to highlight the biography of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, with the best scientific and technical means.
