Al-Balad Al-Amin Center in Mecca: Launch of its third edition with inspiring events

All eyes are on the Holy City of Mecca, as it prepares to host the third edition of "Markaz Al-Balad Al-Amin," organized by the Municipality of Mecca. This event offers a comprehensive Ramadan experience that blends the spirituality of the place with the richness of history, opening up broad horizons for cultural dialogue and sustainable development, thus becoming one of the most prominent landmarks of Mecca's Ramadan scene.

Reviving the Makkah heritage with a modern spirit

This event derives its significance from drawing inspiration from the authentic Makkah heritage; the word "Markaz" in Hijazi culture historically symbolizes a council of dignitaries and notables, a space for social consultation. This edition reinterprets this concept in a modern style that resonates with the aspirations of the new generation. Held under the slogan "Makkah Inspires the World," the event presents a civilizational model that blends the authenticity of the holy city with contemporary approaches, thus reinforcing Makkah's status as a humanitarian and cultural city with a noble global message.

Strategic location and diverse activities

The event will run for 15 nights during the holy month of Ramadan, taking place in the "Sumou Suburb" on Prince Mohammed bin Salman Road, which connects Mecca and Jeddah. The venue is divided into six main zones, each designed to offer a unique character and diverse content, creating an interactive environment that blends knowledge and entertainment. The event also features a specialized market with seven pavilions dedicated to luxury Saudi brands participating for the first time in the Holy City, a move aimed at supporting local content and providing a sophisticated shopping experience.

Sustainable economic and developmental impact

The "Al-Balad Al-Amin Center" is not merely a seasonal event; it represents a significant economic driver aligned with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the Quality of Life Program. Figures from the previous two editions indicate resounding success, with the center welcoming over 32,000 visitors and generating substantial economic activity exceeding 5 billion riyals, in addition to recording 86 million digital interactions. These indicators underscore the event's role in stimulating quality investment and supporting entrepreneurship in the region.

A platform for dialogue and inspiration

The Mayor of Makkah, Musaed Al-Dawood, affirmed that the Markaz represents a practical embodiment of comprehensive development goals, highlighting its role as a strategic platform that fosters integration among developmental, economic, and cultural sectors. For his part, the project's CEO, Dhaifallah Al-Khazmari, explained that this year's edition focuses on solidifying the concept of the Markaz as a cultural and humanitarian project that elevates the value of dialogue and celebrates diversity, transforming Ramadan nights into a space for inspiration and the exchange of ideas, thus reflecting the bright image of Makkah to the world.
