Media Bridge attracts 5,000 visitors at the Saudi Media Forum 2026

The Ministry of Media concluded its successful and distinguished participation in the "Media Bridge" space, held as part of the Saudi Media Forum 2026, amidst a remarkable turnout and significant public engagement. The space, which operated for three days in the "Boulevard 2030" area, recorded over 5,000 visits, including a distinguished group of over 1,145 local and international media professionals. In addition, more than 452 informational tours were organized, reflecting the growing importance of this event in the regional media landscape.

A platform to enhance media communication

The organization of the "Media Bridge" space comes within the framework of a strategic vision aimed at bridging the gap between media institutions and the public, and transforming media theories into tangible, practical applications. This event gains its significance as a pivotal component of the Saudi Media Forum, the largest media gathering in the region, which brings together leaders and experts to discuss the future of the sector under the theme "Media in a Changing World." Through this space, the Ministry has successfully presented a living example of how to leverage digital innovations to create authentic experiences that resonate with visitors' interests and aspirations.

Four interactive, realistic zones

The "Media Bridge" space was distinguished by its innovative design, which included four main areas, carefully designed to cover various aspects of media work:

  • Knowledge Bridge: This area served as a hub for knowledge enrichment, hosting high-quality workshops presented by prominent experts. Among the highlights were the workshop "How to Shine on Stage?" by media personality Fatima Fahad, and the workshop "Your Digital Account as a Media Tool" by the Director General of the Cultural Channel, Malek Al-Ruqi, providing visitors with an opportunity to develop their personal and digital skills.
  • On Air: This zone offered a unique experience simulating the television and radio work environment, where visitors participated in realistic auditions for the roles of news anchors, podcast hosts, and spokespersons. The zone set a record of over 2,100 minutes of broadcast time, reflecting the public's enthusiasm for discovering the behind-the-scenes workings of the media industry.
  • Ask the Media: This space provided a direct channel of communication between the public and decision-makers, where more than 510 visitors benefited from professional consultations provided by 11 experts and leaders in the Ministry of Information, which contributed to guiding young talents and answering specialists' inquiries.
  • Saudipedia: This area focused on promoting national identity and general knowledge, through interactive competitions and tests derived from the national encyclopedia "Saudipedia", to measure visitors' awareness of the historical and cultural information of the Kingdom.

Future impact and skills development

The Ministry of Media's participation extended beyond the traditional presentation, aiming to build lasting bridges with academic institutions. The event saw the participation of faculty and students from more than five Saudi universities. This approach reflects the Ministry's commitment to integrating academic knowledge with professional practice and preparing a new generation of media professionals capable of keeping pace with the rapid transformations in the media and communications industry. These initiatives underscore the Kingdom's commitment to developing a vibrant and interactive media environment that contributes to achieving the goals of Vision 2030 in the media sector.
