The Ministry of Interior showcases its efforts at the Hajj Media Forum to serve pilgrims

As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance services for pilgrims, the Saudi Ministry of Interior actively participating in the exhibition accompanying Hajj Media Forum . This strategic forum, organized by the Ministry of Media, will be held from the 3rd to the 6th of Dhul-Hijjah 1447 AH (May 20-23, 2026) at the Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Exhibition and Events Center. The Ministry's participation aims to raise awareness of the importance of adhering to Hajj regulations and guidelines to ensure pilgrims can perform their rituals with ease, tranquility, and safety.

The historical context of the Kingdom's efforts in serving pilgrims

Historically, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has shouldered the immense responsibility of caring for the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors. The initiative allows pilgrims to complete their entry procedures at their home airports, enabling them to proceed directly to their accommodations in Makkah and Madinah upon arrival without waiting at Saudi airports. This represents a significant leap forward in comfort and logistical services.

The “No Hajj Without a Permit” campaign and security operations

On the security and organizational front, the efforts of the security sectors are highlighted through the “No Hajj Without a Permit”. This campaign aims to protect the rights of registered pilgrims and ensure that the capacity of the holy sites is not exceeded, thus preventing health and security risks. The Ministry clarifies the strict penalties for those who violate Hajj regulations. Furthermore, the role of the Unified Security Operations Centers (911) in receiving emergency security and humanitarian reports is showcased. These centers operate around the clock with multilingual staff to serve pilgrims of various nationalities.
