He inspected the mobile prayer area project in Muzdalifah to serve pilgrims

Ongoing efforts to serve the guests of God

As part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to serve the pilgrims, His Excellency the President General of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Sanad, inspected the mobile prayer area project in Muzdalifah. This pioneering project is a strategic partnership with Kadana Development and Investment Company, the master developer of the Holy Sites, and aims to provide a comprehensive spiritual environment for pilgrims and facilitate the performance of their rituals with ease and comfort.

Historical context and development in serving pilgrims

Historically, the wise leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has placed great importance on developing the holy sites and facilitating the performance of religious rites. With the launch of Saudi Vision 2030, the “Guests of God Service Program” has emerged as one of the most important executive programs seeking to bring about a qualitative shift in the Hajj and Umrah experience. In this context, the General Presidency for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice plays a historic and pivotal role in guiding and educating pilgrims, and providing guidance services that help them perform their rituals according to the noble Prophetic teachings, far removed from any violations or transgressions that might affect the spirituality of the pilgrimage.

Details of the field tour and full readiness

During his field visit, Dr. Al-Sanad inspected the readiness of the General Presidency and its facilities designated to serve the pilgrims during this year's Hajj. He affirmed that the Presidency has completed all preparations and operational requirements at 65 sites, centers, and service points, strategically located in Makkah, the Holy Sites, Madinah, and several other regions of the Kingdom. He explained that these sites have been prepared and equipped with the latest materials and technologies, and staffed with highly qualified personnel capable of operating at the highest levels. This reflects the high level of professionalism and expertise befitting the magnitude of this great Islamic event and ensuring the comfort of the pilgrims.

The legitimate purposes of Hajj and avoiding politicization

His Excellency Dr. Al-Sanad addressed the profound purposes of the Hajj pilgrimage, emphasizing the necessity for pilgrims to perform their rituals and acts of worship as prescribed by God and His Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him. He categorically affirmed that there is no place for raising any political slogans, and that the Hajj should not be diverted from its noble and legitimate objectives. Islamic law mandates the remembrance of God and the glorification of His rites, while completely avoiding any manifestations that might disrupt the purity of worship or incite discord among Muslims. This ensures a pure and unified spiritual environment for all Muslims from across the globe.

The local and international importance and impact of the project

The mobile prayer area project is of paramount importance and has a far-reaching impact on several levels. Locally, the project highlights the successful integration and constructive cooperation between government agencies and national companies like “Kadana,” reflecting the leadership’s directives on the necessity of concerted efforts. Regionally and internationally, this ongoing development reflects the Kingdom’s clear message to the entire Islamic world: to dedicate all available material and human resources to ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of pilgrims, and to present a global model for managing large crowds and meeting their religious and service needs in record time and within a limited geographical area.

Honoring Partners in Success

At the conclusion of his inspection tour, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sanad honored the Kadana Development and Investment Company in recognition of its strategic and effective partnership with the General Presidency. The award was received on behalf of the company by its Chief Operating Officer, Engineer Omar Abdul-Aal. This recognition came in appreciation of the company's outstanding efforts in providing and equipping several strategic locations for use as mobile prayer areas in Muzdalifah, which directly contributes to providing the highest quality services to the pilgrims of the Sacred House of God, and reflects the directives of the wise leadership – may God support them – regarding the necessity of collaborative work to serve the guests of God.
