These efforts resulted in the arrest of 160 individuals, including employees of various ministries and government agencies, for their involvement in charges related to bribery, abuse of power, and money laundering, reflecting the Kingdom’s determination to strengthen the principles of transparency and justice across all sectors of the state.

The National Anti-Corruption Commission (Nazaha) plays a pivotal role in this strategy, independently tracking and investigating cases of financial and administrative corruption and referring those involved to the judiciary without any leniency or discrimination.

The Authority's monthly report revealed the extent of its intensive oversight operations, which included 2,365 inspection tours and investigations into 480 individuals accused in criminal and administrative cases. These oversight efforts also encompassed 14,989 tours of the Holy Sites to ensure the quality of services provided to pilgrims. The list of those accused included employees from vital ministries such as the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, in addition to the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority. One hundred and sixty individuals were detained in accordance with legal procedures, while some were released on bail.
