The launch of the "Sib" platform is not a fleeting technological event, but rather aligns perfectly with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Program, which seeks to automate government procedures and achieve a "paperless government." This step is particularly important given the vital role played by the National Center for Meteorology, whose work demands extreme accuracy in data storage and rapid information retrieval, making digital transformation an urgent necessity, not merely a luxury option.
Ending the era of "unregulated content"
The unified platform primarily aims to eliminate the handling of what is known as "unstructured content" within the center's various departments. By establishing an integrated digital work environment, "Sib" will significantly increase productivity, relying on global best practices that fully comply with the strict regulations and systems of the National Center for Documents and Archives in the Kingdom.

Commenting on this achievement, the center's CEO, Dr. Ayman bin Salem Ghulam, affirmed that the platform's launch represents a tangible and practical realization of the center's comprehensive digital transformation efforts in content management, information transfer, and transaction processing. Dr. Ghulam explained that "Sib" provides the center with ample space for precise control over internal content and incoming and outgoing documents.
The platform features a highly flexible system that manages documents with complete confidentiality through secure encryption technologies, while also providing the ability to maintain a detailed record (Audit Trail) of all different versions of documents and any modifications made to them, thus ensuring integrity and transparency in the workflow.
