
The General Directorate of Passports reveals working hours during the Eid al-Fitr holiday
The working hours during Ramadan at the Al-Rimal Passports Department in Riyadh will be from 9 pm to 1 am. The Al-Serafi Mall and Al-Tahlia Mall Passports Departments in Jeddah will operate until the end of the workday on Monday, 27 Ramadan 1447 AH, from 9 pm to 1 am. The passport departments in other regions and governorates will operate from Sunday to Thursday from 10 am to 3 pm, with the exception of the passport departments in Al-Baha and Al-Jawf regions, which will operate from 10 am to 3 pm.
Eid al-Fitr holiday
of Passports announced that working hours during the Eid al-Fitr holiday at the Al-Rimal Passport Office in Riyadh will be from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, while at the passport offices in Al-Baha and Al-Jawf regions, they will be from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Passport offices in other regions and governorates will operate from Sunday to Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The first day of Eid al-Fitr will be an official holiday for all passport offices and branches across the country.
The General Directorate of Passports confirmed its readiness to handle emergency cases and process services that cannot be completed through the Ministry of Interior's electronic services platforms (Absher, Absher Business, and Muqeem Portal). It also highlighted the availability of the "Tawasul" service, which allows users to submit requests to complete transactions that could not be processed electronically, without needing to visit passport offices.
