• Imprisonment: A prison sentence of up to 15 years.
• Financial penalty: A huge financial penalty of up to one million Saudi Riyals.
• Confiscation of the means of transport: Confiscation of the vehicle or means of transport used in committing the crime.
• Confiscation of housing: Confiscation of housing specifically prepared to shelter border security violators or used solely for this purpose. If the confiscated housing belongs to someone else, the owner will be fined up to one million riyals.
