Authority in Madinah continues Saudi Red Crescent to provide its intensive ambulance and humanitarian services to pilgrims who flock to the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah. These efforts are part of the operational plan approved for the 1447 AH Hajj season, which ensures the continuity of emergency healthcare for pilgrims and visitors around the clock, a period no less important than the days of the rituals themselves.

Serving pilgrims and Umrah performers is a great honor and a historic responsibility undertaken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which mobilizes all its sectors to ensure the comfort and safety of the millions who flock to the holy sites annually. The Saudi Red Crescent Authority plays a pivotal role in this system, drawing on decades of experience in crowd management and providing emergency medical services in situations demanding the highest levels of preparedness, reflecting the Kingdom's unwavering commitment to the Muslim world.

An integrated system for the care of pilgrims in Madinah Al-Tayyibah

Dr. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Zahrani, Director General of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority's branch in Madinah, explained that ambulance teams are continuing their field work without interruption. Their deployment is concentrated around the Prophet's Mosque and its courtyards, historical sites frequented by visitors, and densely populated central areas. This strategic deployment aims to ensure rapid response to any emergency and effective handling of the situation immediately upon receiving a report, thus contributing to saving lives and reducing potential health complications.

Advanced technologies and rapid response from the Red Crescent in the city

To bolster these efforts, the Authority has dedicated all its human and operational resources to support this crucial phase. These resources include specialized ambulance teams, rapid intervention units, environmentally friendly electric vehicles, and golf carts to facilitate movement in congested areas. The air ambulance system is also fully prepared to handle critical cases requiring rapid transport to advanced hospitals, in accordance with the highest international standards.

Al-Zahrani added that the region's medical deportation center continues to receive reports via the unified emergency number (997) and the "Is'afni" (Help Me) application, while monitoring the performance of field teams through advanced tracking systems to ensure service quality. He emphasized that the work is proceeding in full coordination and integration with response partners and relevant authorities in the region, with the aim of enhancing operational readiness and maintaining the safety and health of pilgrims to the Holy Mosque in Mecca and visitors to the Prophet's Mosque in Medina. These efforts are not only important at the local level, but also serve as a message of reassurance to the entire Muslim world, affirming the Kingdom's commitment to providing the highest levels of care for the guests of God.
