The General Directorate of Technical and Vocational Training in Riyadh concluded its 2026 Esports Championship in a prominent technical and sporting event hosted by the Girls' Technical College in Riyadh. The closing ceremony was held under the patronage and in the presence of the Director General of the General Directorate of Technical and Vocational Training in Riyadh, Engineer Bader bin Ibrahim Al-Abdulwahed, with wide participation from leaders of training institutions and staff of the Directorate, amidst a festive atmosphere that reflected the significant development witnessed by the technical training sector in the Kingdom.

The tournament underscores the role of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) in supporting the National Strategy for Gaming and Esports, launched by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, to position the Kingdom as a global hub for this sector by 2030. The importance of these events extends beyond mere entertainment, encompassing the development of digital skills, strategic thinking, and teamwork among trainees.

The 2026 edition witnessed wide participation from various training facilities for boys and girls across the Riyadh region. The competitions were characterized by their competitiveness and excitement, held in both singles and doubles formats. - Individual category (boys): The Industrial Secondary Institute and the branch of the Technical College in Hawtat Bani Tamim Governorate won the title.
- Individual category (girls): The Digital Technical College for Girls in Riyadh won the title, confirming its excellence in digital specializations.
- Doubles category: The Technical College in Al Majmaah won the championship title, thanks to the great harmony between the team members.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Engineer Bader Al-Abdulwahed honored the winners and participants, praising the high level of sportsmanship displayed throughout the tournament.
