A royal decree was issued by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may God protect him, promoting and appointing 37 judges across various judicial ranks within the Board of Grievances. This step comes as part of the wise leadership's ongoing support for the judiciary and its efforts to strengthen its independence and efficiency. The Board of Grievances is an independent administrative judicial body in the Kingdom, specializing in adjudicating disputes in which the administration is a party. The Board was established in 1374 AH (1955 CE) and has undergone successive structural and legislative developments, most notably the issuance of its new system in 1428 AH (2007 CE). His Excellency the President of the Board of Grievances and Chairman of the Administrative Judiciary Council, Dr. Ali bin Ahmed Al-Ahaideb, explained that the Royal Decree included the promotion of (3) judges to the rank of (President of Court of Appeal), one judge to the rank of (Judge of Appeal), two judges to the rank of (President of Court/A), and (4) judges to the rank of (President of Court/B). The decree also included the promotion of (7) judges to the rank of (Deputy Judge/A), (4) judges to the rank of (Deputy Judge/B), (9) judges to the rank of (Judge/A), and (4) judges to the rank of (Judge/B), in addition to the appointment of (3) judges to the same rank.

Dr. Al-Ahaideb concluded his statement by emphasizing that the administrative judiciary enjoys the unlimited care and support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the close attention and follow-up of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince – may God protect them both. He pointed out that this generous royal decree represents a great incentive for the staff of the Court to continue their dedicated service, strengthens its judicial departments with qualified personnel, and enhances the system's readiness to continue its leading role in achieving administrative justice.
