Ukrainian authorities reported on Sunday that at least nine civilians were wounded in a series of Russian attacks targeting several areas of the country, on the second day of a unilaterally declared temporary ceasefire. According to the region's governor, Oleksandr Vilkul, the rescue team was en route to assist residents in the village of Mirivska when their vehicle was directly hit.
In the southern Kherson region, Russian strikes injured four people, including a 19-year-old and a 53-year-old city council employee. In the neighboring Mykolaiv region, two people were injured in a drone attack targeting a civilian vehicle. In the Zaporizhzhia region, a man was wounded in a similar attack, according to the local governor. Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry accused Ukrainian forces of committing thousands of ceasefire violations in a 24-hour period, including drone attacks.
