Economic and tourism dimensions
The impact of hosting such global championships, like powerboat races or Formula 1 races, which Jeddah also hosts, is not limited to the sporting aspect alone, but extends to include huge economic and tourism returns. These events contribute to attracting visitors and tourists from around the world, stimulating the hospitality and services sector, and enhancing the Kingdom's image as a country capable of organizing and managing the largest global events according to the highest technical and security standards.
