Ambassador Al-Huwaishan presents his credentials to the acting president of Myanmar
In the context of strengthening the diplomatic relations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Asian continent, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Mazyad bin Mohammed Al-Huwaishan, presented his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom to His Excellency President Min Aung Hlaing, Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
The presentation of credentials ceremony took place today at the Presidential Palace in the administrative capital, Naypyidaw, where Ambassador Al-Huishan was accorded an official reception befitting the level of diplomatic representation between the two countries, reflecting the depth of the diplomatic protocols followed in such sovereign occasions.
Conveying greetings from the Saudi leadership
During the official meeting, Ambassador Al-Huwaishan conveyed to His Excellency the Acting President the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prime Minister – may God protect them both. He also conveyed the wise leadership's wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the friendly government and people of Myanmar, emphasizing the Kingdom's keenness to extend bridges of cooperation and friendship with various countries around the world.

For his part, His Excellency President Min Aung Hlaing welcomed the Saudi Ambassador and conveyed his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, praising the international standing of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. His Excellency expressed his wishes for the Kingdom and its people to achieve further progress and prosperity under its wise leadership, emphasizing the importance of expanding bilateral relations to broader horizons in a way that serves the interests of both countries.
