Saudi Arabia at the Davos Forum 2026: A review of Vision 2030 and global partnerships

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is preparing to make an exceptional appearance on the international economic scene, as it participates with a high-level delegation headed by His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, in the 2026 World Economic Forum Annual Meeting. This prominent global event will be held in Davos, Switzerland, from January 19 to 23, bringing together an elite group of world leaders and decision-makers.
The Saudi delegation includes a group of ministers and officials representing the vital sectors driving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, including Her Royal Highness Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United States, His Excellency the Minister of Commerce Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi, His Excellency the Minister of Tourism Mr. Ahmed Al-Khatib, His Excellency the Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid Al-Falih, His Excellency the Minister of Finance Mr. Mohammed Al-Jadaan, in addition to the Ministers of Communications, Industry, Economy and Planning.

The Kingdom's participation in the 56th World Economic Forum, themed "Values of Dialogue," comes at a time of rapid geopolitical and economic transformations worldwide. The Davos Forum has historically been the most important platform where the public and private sectors meet to shape the global agenda. In this context, Saudi Arabia's presence is significant as an influential economic power within the G20 and a pivotal player in global energy markets and supply chains, lending the Kingdom's voice considerable weight in discussions on artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and the transition to clean energy.
"The Saudi House": A Window to the Future
To enhance effective communication, the Kingdom is relaunching the “Saudi House” pavilion initiative, organized by the Ministry of Economy and Planning. The pavilion will serve as an interactive platform hosting over 20 dialogue sessions, including officially endorsed forum sessions, to discuss strategic themes such as “An Ambitious Vision,” “Data for Impact,” and “Quality of Life.” The initiative will also see the launch of the “NextOn” dialogue series, exploring future transformations in promising sectors.

Through this extensive participation, the Kingdom aims to achieve several strategic objectives with both local and international impact. Foremost among these is highlighting Saudi Arabia's attractive investment environment and showcasing the real-world success stories of Vision 2030 in diversifying income sources and empowering the private sector.
