The Noble Garden (Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah) is one of the purest places on earth and a destination for those intending to pray at the Prophet's Mosque
In an authentic hadith, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Between my house and my pulpit is a garden from the gardens of Paradise.” This is what historians have relied upon to document the virtue and significance of this place within the Prophet's Mosque.
The Noble Garden is located in the southeastern part of the Prophet's Mosque. It is bordered to the east by the chamber of Lady Aisha - may God be pleased with her - and to the west by the Noble Pulpit, and to the south by the direction of the Qibla, and to the north by the line parallel to the end of Lady Aisha's house - may God be pleased with her - and its area is about 330 square meters, with a length of approximately 22 meters and a width of about 15 meters, which makes it a limited area in relation to the large number of worshippers and visitors who wish to pray in it . Due to its limited area, the visit is organized through prior booking via the “Nusk” application, which contributes to organizing the movement of visitors and enabling the largest possible number of them to perform the prayer in an organized and safe atmosphere.
Specific visiting hours
Specific times are allocated daily for visiting the Rawdah Ash-Sharifah (the area between the Prophet's grave and his pulpit) for both men and women, within a carefully organized system that takes into account the site's capacity and ensures smooth flow of movement within the Prophet's Mosque.
The entry process begins with visitors passing through visual screening gates for individuals and groups, then proceeding to a permit reading area, followed by a drive to the internal waiting area. Once the required number is reached, the group is directed into the Rawdah Ash-Sharifah.
This well-organized system facilitates movement and reduces waiting time, allowing visitors to perform their prayers in this blessed place in an atmosphere of tranquility and peace.
