Areas affected by rain and wind
The weather forecast covered multiple regions, with thunderstorms and strong winds expected in parts of the Eastern Province, Riyadh, Makkah, Al-Baha, Asir, and Jazan . These weather fluctuations are part of the climatic pattern the Kingdom experiences during seasonal transitions, where air masses interact, leading to the formation of cumulonimbus clouds and thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the impact of active winds stirring up dust and sand, leading to near-zero visibility, continues in parts of the Al-Jawf and Northern Borders . The center also warned of the possibility of dense fog forming during the night and early morning hours in parts of these areas, a recurring phenomenon that increases the risks of driving in the early morning hours.

State of the Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf
Regarding maritime navigation, the report explained that the surface wind movement on the Red Sea will be northwesterly to northerly on the northern and central parts, and southeasterly to easterly on the southern part, with wave heights that may reach two and a half meters in the event of thunderstorms, making the sea state rough and requiring caution for fishermen and seafarers.
In the Arabian Gulf , the winds turn northwesterly at night with speeds reaching 50 km/h, with thunderstorms over the northern part, and the waves rise to more than two meters, indicating a turbulent sea state in those areas.
These accurate reports reflect the great development in the weather monitoring system in the Kingdom, and the importance of following weather bulletins on a daily basis to regulate life activities and avoid potential environmental risks.
