These storms are expected to be accompanied by active winds that will affect horizontal visibility, and the conditions will include parts of the Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah, and Madinah .
The report also warned of the possibility of fog forming during the night and early morning hours, which may lead to a decrease in horizontal visibility in parts of those areas, in addition to parts of the Riyadh, Eastern, Northern Borders, Al-Jawf and Tabuk regions .
Climate diversity and the importance of monitoring weather forecasts
These daily reports are of paramount importance given the vast size of Saudi Arabia, which creates a unique climatic diversity. While coastal areas like Jeddah and Jazan enjoy warm weather, central regions and mountainous areas such as Abha and Al-Baha experience a noticeable drop in temperatures, a typical pattern during this transitional period of the year.
Weather experts emphasize the importance of continuously monitoring weather forecasts, especially for drivers on highways connecting cities, as dense fog in the early morning hours poses a significant safety challenge in areas such as Riyadh and the Eastern Province. Residents of rainy areas are also advised to stay away from wadis and floodplains and follow Civil Defense guidelines to ensure public safety.
