Pakistani scholars praise the King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Quran
The President of the Pakistan Ulema and Sheikhs Association, Sheikh Pir Fayaz Sultan, praised the pioneering and strategic role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in serving the Holy Qur’an and the Prophet’s Sunnah, describing the King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Qur’an in Madinah as a “global beacon” illuminating the paths of Muslims in all parts of the world.
This came during his official visit to the complex, where he was received by a number of officials, and during which he was briefed on the largest printing production lines in the world, which the Kingdom has dedicated to ensuring that the Book of God reaches the hands of Muslims with the highest levels of accuracy and quality.
A tour through the corridors of mastery and quality
At the start of his visit, the Pakistani guest toured the complex's meticulous production stages, receiving a detailed explanation of the complex work processes and rigorous oversight employed by Saudi experts. These stages are characterized by the integration of modern technology with rigorous human review by specialized scientific committees, ensuring that the Holy Quran is free from any printing or technical errors, befitting the sanctity of God's Holy Book.
Sheikh Sultan reviewed the various editions produced by the complex in multiple sizes and versions, expressing his great admiration for the technological development used in printing and binding, which makes the Medina Mushaf the most reliable and widespread version in the Islamic world.
A rich history and a noble message
The interest of scholars throughout the Islamic world in this grand institution stems from its historical and religious significance. Since its establishment, the King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Quran has undertaken the responsibility of printing and distributing the Holy Quran. The Complex produces millions of copies annually, which are distributed to pilgrims, Umrah performers, mosques, and Islamic centers abroad. It is the largest printing press in the world dedicated to printing the Quran and represents one of the most important pillars of the Kingdom's soft power in serving the true religion.
Global translations to serve non-Arabic speakers
In a related context, the Chairman of the Pakistan Ulema Association was briefed on the projects to translate the meanings of the Holy Quran into various living world languages. These ambitious projects aim to convey the sublime divine message to all peoples, regardless of their language or culture, thereby contributing to the dissemination of the values of tolerance and moderation and correcting misconceptions about Islam. The Urdu translation, which is of great interest to a large segment of Muslims in the Indian subcontinent, is among the most important translations to which the Assembly gives special attention.

Sheikh Bir Fayyad Sultan expressed his appreciation for the exceptional care and generous, continuous support that the wise leadership provides to this great Islamic institution. He affirmed that what he witnessed reflects the Kingdom's unwavering commitment to preserving and disseminating the Holy Quran and serving Islam and Muslims throughout the world. He noted that such efforts are not surprising from the land of the Two Holy Mosques, which has made serving the Quran its constitution and guiding principle.
At the conclusion of his tour, Sheikh Fayyad commended the tireless efforts of the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, the General Supervisor of the Complex, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Sheikh, in following up on the work of the Complex and developing its outputs, in a manner that keeps pace with the high status of the Kingdom as the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the guardian of the Book of God, and in a manner that fulfills the aspirations of Muslims to obtain reliable and high-quality copies of the Holy Quran.
