The Foreign Minister heads the Kingdom's delegation at the Munich Security Conference

His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, arrived today in Munich, Federal Republic of Germany, to head the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation participating in the Munich Security Conference 2026. This participation underscores the Kingdom's pivotal role in promoting international peace and security, and its continued commitment to an active presence at major global forums.
A high-level delegation reflects the comprehensiveness of the security concept
The Kingdom's delegation participating in the conference includes a distinguished group of political and security leaders, reflecting the Kingdom's comprehensive view of the modern concept of security. His Excellency Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Member of the Council of Ministers, and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, is participating, underscoring the Kingdom's commitment to addressing climate change as an integral part of global security. The delegation also includes His Excellency Majid bin Mohammed Al-Mazyad, Governor of the National Cybersecurity Authority, highlighting the importance of digital and cybersecurity in modern warfare and the protection of critical infrastructure. Furthermore, His Excellency Major General Fahd bin Hamad Al-Otaibi, CEO of the Center for Strategic Defense Studies and Research, is participating to bolster the research and strategic aspects of the defense system.
