The Minister of Interior inspects the special security forces to ensure the safety of the Hajj pilgrimage

As part of the extensive preparations for this year's Hajj season, His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, conducted a vital inspection tour of the Special Security Forces of the Presidency of State Security. This visit reflects the keenness of the wise leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to ensure the highest levels of security, safety, and comfort for the pilgrims who come to the Holy Land from all corners of the earth to perform the Hajj pilgrimage.

During his inspection visit, where he was received by the Head of State Security, His Excellency Mr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Howairini, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud reviewed the operational readiness of the Special Security Forces. His Highness listened to a comprehensive briefing presented by the Commander of the Special Security Forces, Major General Fahd bin Ghazi Al-Harbi, which detailed the security and organizational plans prepared for the Hajj season. The briefing included a detailed review of the progress of field preparations and the mechanisms for executing the security tasks assigned to the forces. These plans aim to enhance performance efficiency and raise the level of security coordination among all security and military sectors participating in serving the pilgrims. These plans are meticulously designed to encompass all aspects of security, from crowd management to rapid response to any emergency, to ensure the smooth flow and safety of pilgrims in the Holy Sites.

His Royal Highness the Minister of Interior commended the dedicated and exceptional efforts of the Special Security Forces, emphasizing that the integrated security, organizational, and service systems implemented during Hajj, along with the advanced equipment at their disposal, reflect the Kingdom's profound commitment to the pilgrims. He explained that these efforts enhance the efficiency of security and organizational plans, ensuring the safety and security of pilgrims and enabling them to perform their rituals with ease and tranquility – the ultimate goal of the wise leadership.
