Historical background and strategic context
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan share deep-rooted and enduring historical ties, based on brotherhood, a shared destiny, and mutual respect. Regionally, this close coordination between Riyadh and Amman sends a strong message about their shared commitment to maintaining the security and stability of the region and serves as a model for effective Arab cooperation in confronting complex security challenges.
