A historic responsibility and a great honor

Hajj, the fifth pillar of Islam, is the world's largest annual religious gathering, requiring meticulous planning and exceptional logistical, security, and health efforts. Over the decades, the Kingdom has invested billions of riyals in developing the infrastructure of the holy sites, including the expansion of the Two Holy Mosques, the construction of advanced road and bridge networks, and the development of the Al-Mashaaer Metro, to ensure the smooth flow of crowds and provide the utmost comfort and safety for the pilgrims.
Dimensions of success and its global impact
The success of the Hajj season extends far beyond the local level, leaving a positive mark regionally and internationally. Internationally, this success reinforces the Kingdom's position as a leader of the Islamic world and highlights its exceptional ability to manage and organize massive events with unparalleled efficiency, serving as global recognition of the competence of Saudi government agencies. Regionally, these exchanges of congratulations contribute to strengthening fraternal ties and diplomatic relations with neighboring countries and the Arab world. Locally, this success reflects the integrated efforts of all government and private sectors, as well as volunteers, and represents a source of national pride. It also aligns with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which aims to enhance the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage experience and provide pilgrims with superior services.
