Saudi scouts serve visitors to the Prophet's Mosque during Ramadan with 350 volunteers

As part of its ongoing efforts to serve pilgrims, the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association a public service camp in Madinah coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan. The camp sees wide participation, with over 350 scouts, leaders, and female leaders , all working within a well-structured field plan aimed at providing the best possible services to visitors of the Prophet's Mosque, worshippers, and those observing the fast throughout the blessed month.
A long history of serving the guests of God
This camp is not a fleeting event, but rather an extension of the long and distinguished history of Saudi scouts serving pilgrims. For decades, the association has dedicated its human resources to supporting government agencies during religious seasons. This continuous presence reflects the commitment of the people of Saudi Arabia to their religious and national responsibility towards those visiting the Two Holy Mosques, as these camps have become field schools that instill in young people the values of selfless giving and generosity.
Strategic partnership and institutional integration
This year's camp features a comprehensive volunteer system, implemented through high-level coordination with several governmental and non-governmental sectors. Participating in the camp's activities are scouting groups representing the Ministry of Education, Saudi universities, the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, and the Ministry of Sports . This diverse participation embodies an effective institutional partnership aimed at unifying efforts to ensure the smooth flow of crowds and provide necessary logistical support in the central area surrounding the Prophet's Mosque.
Field missions and security support
Volunteers work alongside security personnel and government employees, supporting the Hajj and Umrah security forces and security patrols. Their duties include managing pedestrian flow, guiding lost pilgrims, assisting the elderly and people with disabilities, and supporting the efforts of the General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque . These efforts aim to enhance the efficiency of services provided and ensure a safe and reassuring spiritual environment for visitors.

The association affirmed that this camp represents a fertile educational environment for instilling noble values in young people, such as compassion, responsibility, and teamwork.
