Booking for Hajj packages for domestic pilgrims for 1447 AH has begun via Nusuk: Details

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia officially announced the launch of the booking phase for Hajj packages designated for domestic pilgrims (citizens and residents) for the 1447 AH Hajj season. This step complements the organizational procedures initiated by the Ministry with the registration of initial data. Those wishing to perform the pilgrimage can now complete their bookings and issue invoices through the "Nusk" application and the Ministry's website.

Digital transformation and facilitating the Hajj journey

These measures come within the framework of the comprehensive digital transformation underway in the Hajj and Umrah system, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which aims to facilitate the journey of pilgrims and enhance the quality of services provided. The Nusuk application is the unified government platform that has replaced previous systems, offering a seamless user experience that ensures transparency in pricing and services, and allows pilgrims to review all available packages and choose the one that best suits their needs and budget.

Booking details and strict payment deadlines

The ministry explained that the mechanism adopted at this stage allows applicants to review the packages, choose the most suitable one, and then generate a booking invoice for payment via the "SADAD" system. To ensure fair distribution of opportunities and prevent the booking of seats without serious intent, the ministry has established precise payment schedules

  • First deadline: The ministry grants a payment deadline of up to 72 hours for reservations made up to the date of 27 Dhu al-Qi'dah 1447 AH.
  • Second deadline: The payment deadline is reduced to only 6 hours for bookings that start from the date of 28 Dhu al-Qi’dah 1447 AH.

The ministry stressed that failure to pay within the specified period will automatically result in the cancellation of the reservation to give other beneficiaries the opportunity.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Regarding the cancellation policy, the Ministry confirmed the adoption of a flexible and phased approach that considers the interests of both pilgrims and service providers. Applicants can cancel their booking and receive a full refund (without any deductions) before the permit is issued and up to the 30th of Shawwal 1447 AH. After the permit is issued, the applicable discount policy will be applied based on the date the cancellation request is submitted. The Ministry also noted that no refunds will be issued for cancellation requests submitted after the 1st of Dhul Hijjah 1447 AH and until the platform closes.

The importance of early planning

Early announcement of packages and opening of reservations is a strategic step that enables Hajj service companies and providers to prepare in advance and allocate the necessary resources to serve pilgrims optimally. It also helps pilgrims arrange their financial and administrative affairs well before the start of the Hajj rituals.

The Ministry urged all those wishing to perform Hajj to promptly access the “Nusuk” application via the link http://onelink.to/nusuk or the website, and to carefully review the package details, terms, and conditions before finalizing any contracts.
