The warning includes the cities of Jubail, Khobar, Dammam, Dhahran, Qatif, and Ras Tanura, where wind speeds may reach 40-49 km/h. Al-Ahsa, Al-Udayd, Abqaiq, and Dhahran will also be affected by blowing dust, reducing visibility to between 3 and 5 kilometers.
State of the Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf
Regarding maritime navigation, the report indicated that surface winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to northerly in the northern and central parts, and southeasterly to southwesterly in the southern part, with speeds ranging from 15 to 30 km/h and wave heights between half a meter and one and a half meters. In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 20 to 40 km/h, with wave heights between one and two meters.
