Registration dates for the 2026 achievement test for female students and the Qiyas link

The Education and Training Evaluation Commission in Saudi Arabia, represented by the National Center for Assessment, announced the detailed timeline for student registration for the 2026 Achievement Test. This announcement comes as part of early preparations to ensure a smooth registration process. The Commission has adopted a phased registration system to guarantee the stability of its technical systems and facilitate procedures for female students across all regions of the Kingdom.

Registration begins and schedules are available for all regions

The authority clarified that the registration window will officially open tomorrow, Monday, March 2, 2026. To avoid technical pressure on the "Qiyas" portal, registration dates have been divided according to the geographical distribution of educational departments, as per the following schedule:

  • Riyadh region: Registration begins on Monday, March 2, 2026.
  • Makkah Region: Registration begins on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
  • Madinah, Asir and Qassim regions: Registration begins on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
  • Eastern Province and Jazan Region: Registration begins on Thursday, March 5, 2026.
  • The remaining regions (Tabuk, Hail, Al-Jawf, Najran, Northern Borders, Al-Baha): Registration will be available on Friday, March 6, 2026.

Test dates and time periods

Regarding the dates for holding the actual tests, the authority has set two main periods to allow female students the opportunity to take the test at times that suit them:

  • The first period: The tests will be held from May 13 to 17, 2026. Registration for this period will close permanently on Thursday, May 14, 2026.
  • The second period: The tests will be held from June 5 to 9, 2026, and registration will remain open until Saturday, June 6, 2026.

The importance of academic achievement testing (background and context)

The Achievement Test (Tahseeli) is one of the most important national criteria for admission to Saudi universities, particularly for science, health, and engineering colleges. The test aims to measure a student's proficiency in the core science subjects (mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology) studied during secondary school. Saudi universities assign significant weight to this test score within the "weighted percentage" used to rank applicants for university placements.

Through these standardized tests, the Education and Training Evaluation Commission seeks to promote fairness and transparency in university admission procedures and raise the quality of inputs into higher education, in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals for developing human capabilities.

Call for early registration

The authority urged all female students and their parents to adhere to the dates specified for each region and to register early through the National Center for Assessment website. Early registration helps ensure that students choose the center closest to their residence and the date that best suits their circumstances, thus avoiding overcrowding during the final registration periods.
