On the health front, the Authority provided advanced preventive and curative medical care by deploying field clinics and medical points equipped with the latest equipment and staffed by specialized personnel.
These teams monitor the vital signs of those observing Itikaf, such as measuring blood sugar levels, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and temperature, in addition to providing urgent medical consultations and first aid to ensure the safety of the pilgrims.
Integrated support services
The operational plan also addressed logistical support, with the Authority dedicating a team to organize and care for those observing Itikaf, providing Iftar and Suhoor meals, and offering ongoing hospitality.
These services included laundry, mobile phone charging stations, and a lost and found service for those in Itikaf, all combining to create a comprehensive spiritual experience befitting the holy month.
