
Thunderstorms, winds, and fog: Saturday's weather forecast in Saudi Arabia
The National Center for Meteorology has revealed the weather conditions for today, Saturday, in the Kingdom, warning of thunderstorms , winds, and fog in several regions.
According to the meteorology statement, moderate to heavy thunderstorms are expected, leading to flash floods and accompanied by hail and strong winds that will stir up dust and sand, potentially reducing horizontal visibility to near zero in parts of the Northern Borders, Al-Jawf, Tabuk, Hail, Al-Qassim, and Riyadh regions.

While light to moderate conditions are expected in parts of Najran, Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah, and Madinah, as well as in the northern parts of the Eastern Province.
Fog formation is also possible during the night and early morning hours in parts of these regions.

Red Sea
- Surface winds: Southeasterly at a speed of 21-42 km/h, reaching up to 50 km/h, with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds over the northern part.
- Wave height: from one to two meters, reaching more than two and a half meters with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds over the northern part.
- Sea state: Light to moderate waves, becoming rough with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds over the northern part.
Arabian Gulf
- Surface winds: Northwesterly to northerly at a speed of 10-25 km/h.
- Wave height: from half a meter to one meter.
- Sea state: Light waves.
