President Erdogan arrives in Riyadh on an official visit to strengthen relations

His Excellency President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan , President of the Republic of Turkey, and his accompanying delegation, arrived in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, today, on an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia aimed at strengthening ties of joint cooperation and exploring ways to develop bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.
The dimensions of the visit and its important timing
This visit reflects the mutual commitment of both countries' leaderships to strengthening fraternal relations and advancing cooperation across various fields. The visit is of particular importance given the pivotal roles played by both the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Turkey in the region, as both sides seek to coordinate their positions on regional and international issues of common interest, serving the interests of their peoples and enhancing security and stability in the Middle East.
Economic and trade cooperation
Economic and trade issues are expected to top the agenda of the talks, especially with the presence of Minister of Commerce Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi accompanying the visiting president. Economic relations between Riyadh and Ankara are witnessing remarkable growth, as both sides seek to increase the volume of trade and explore new investment opportunities that align with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which opens broad horizons for strategic partnerships with economically influential countries like Türkiye.
Reception ceremony at King Khalid International Airport
Upon his arrival at King Khalid International Airport, the Turkish President was received by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, who welcomed the distinguished guest and his accompanying delegation.
Also participating in the reception ceremony were His Highness Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, Secretary of the Riyadh Region, His Excellency the Minister of Commerce Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi (the accompanying minister), the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Turkey Fahd bin Asaad Abu Al-Nasr, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to the Kingdom Amrullah Ashler, in addition to the Acting Director of the Region Police Major General Mansour bin Nasser Al-Otaibi, and the Undersecretary of Royal Protocol Fahd Al-Sahil, in a scene that reflects the warmth of the reception and the depth of the diplomatic ties between the two countries.
