The Umm Al-Qura University Electronic Quran Recitation Center achieved a significant milestone in 2025, establishing a remarkable global presence that reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's pioneering role in serving the Holy Quran and disseminating its sciences. Recent figures and statistics confirm the center's success in providing a distinguished educational model that utilizes the latest digital technologies to teach correct recitation and Tajweed rules to beneficiaries worldwide.
Global statistics reflect the scale of the achievement
Official statistics revealed that the online Quran recitation services have reached 15,201 students, representing a wide geographical diversity encompassing 88 countries across six continents: Asia, Africa, Europe, North America, South America, and Australia. This broad reach is a clear indication of the high credibility of the university's programs and their ability to transcend geographical boundaries to deliver authentic Islamic knowledge.
Sound educational and methodological competencies
To ensure the quality of educational outcomes, the teaching process was overseen by a select group of 80 highly qualified and experienced teachers of Quranic recitation. Their efforts resulted in 3,424 hours of instruction throughout the year, during which 23,229 pages of the Holy Quran were read and corrected, reflecting the meticulous attention and care that the Quranic recitation center gives to each student.
