Explanation of the "Let Them Circumambulate" service and permits for breaking the fast during Ramadan 1447 AH

As part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's transformative transformation in the services provided to pilgrims, and in line with the goals of Vision 2030 aimed at facilitating Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages, the General Authority for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques continues to launch a range of advanced digital services. The "Let Them Circumambulate" service is one of the most prominent of these initiatives, designed to enrich the experience of Umrah and Hajj pilgrims, ensure they can perform their rituals with ease and convenience, and organize seasonal charitable work such as providing Iftar meals for those fasting during Ramadan.

"Let them circumambulate" service... your digital companion for Umrah

The "Let Them Circumambulate" service is a significant technological advancement that offers pilgrims multiple options for performing the rituals, whether by requesting a qualified guide to accompany them or by relying on the "Digital Guide" integrated into the application. This service is important because it provides reliable religious guidance, eliminating the need for personal interpretations or reliance on unreliable sources, thus enhancing the spirituality of the journey and reducing mental distractions during Tawaf and Sa'i.

The authority outlined easy steps to benefit from this service via the smart application:

  • Access the application and click on the "Start Service" icon (and let them circumambulate).
  • Download the dedicated app and log in (or create a new account in seconds).
  • Specify the type of ritual required (Tawaf or a complete Umrah).
  • Add the service to your shopping cart, complete the payment process, and confirm your booking.
  • Track the order status via the "My Orders" menu and communicate directly with the pilgrim through the application.
  • Evaluate the experience after completion to ensure future service quality improvement.

Digital guide: Technology to serve worshippers

For those who prefer self-reliance, the application provides the “Digital Guide” option, which is a smart assistant that includes more than 170 readable and audible supplications, in addition to the “Circle Counter” feature that solves the problem of doubt about the number of circles that many pilgrims fall into, thus ensuring that the rituals are performed with complete peace of mind.

Organizing permits for breaking the fast during Ramadan for the year 1447 AH

In other news, and as part of early preparations for religious seasons, the Authority announced the opening of applications for permits to provide meals for fasting individuals at the Grand Mosque in Mecca and the Prophet's Mosque in Medina during the holy month of Ramadan 1447 AH. This version of the permits is distinguished by its high level of governance through a strategic partnership with the national charitable platform "Ihsan" and the "Nusk" platform.

This new organization aims to ensure that donations reach those who deserve them and to provide breakfast meals that meet the highest standards of quality and food safety, while eliminating the randomness that may hinder the movement of worshippers.

Application details and requirements:

  • For individuals: Only one meal is allowed (25-50 meals), and the offering for the Grand Mosque is from 3-5 Shaban, and for the Prophet’s Mosque from 6-8 Shaban.
  • For non-profit organizations: the minimum is 10 trips, and applications for the Grand Mosque are accepted from 6-8 Shaban, and for the Prophet’s Mosque from 9-11 Shaban.
  • Payment mechanism: Payment is made electronically through the “Ehsan” platform within 72 hours of submitting the request, where the price includes full implementation by approved catering companies.

These measures reflect the Kingdom’s keenness to provide an exceptional experience for visitors to the Two Holy Mosques, combining high spirituality with sophisticated logistical services that rely on the latest technologies.
