Yemeni pilgrims appreciate Saudi Arabia's efforts during the Hajj season

A number of Yemeni pilgrims arriving to perform Hajj this year expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation for the tremendous efforts exerted by the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and his Crown Prince, to serve the guests of God. The pilgrims praised the meticulous organization and comprehensive services they experienced from the moment they arrived in the Kingdom, affirming that these facilities enabled them to perform their rituals with ease, comfort, and peace of mind.

This praise comes in the context of the Kingdom's historic and pioneering role in serving the Two Holy Mosques and organizing the Hajj season, the world's largest annual religious gathering. Over the decades, Saudi Arabia has invested enormous resources in developing the infrastructure of the holy sites, from expanding the Two Holy Mosques and developing the Jamarat Bridge, to establishing modern road and rail networks such as the Al-Mashaaer Al-Mugaddassah Metro, all with the aim of accommodating the increasing numbers of pilgrims and ensuring their safety and comfort.

The testimony of Yemeni pilgrims is particularly significant given the difficult circumstances in their country. Saudi authorities have provided them with exceptional facilities, from streamlined entry procedures at border crossings and comfortable transportation and accommodation to comprehensive healthcare and guidance services. These efforts reflect the Kingdom's commitment to enabling all Muslims to perform the fifth pillar of Islam, regardless of their nationality or circumstances.

Regionally and internationally, these successful efforts reinforce the Kingdom's position as a leader of the Islamic world and highlight its exceptional ability to manage crowds and organize major global events. They also send a powerful humanitarian message, emphasizing that Hajj is a unifying occasion for Muslims, transcending any political differences or regional challenges. The Kingdom's success in providing a safe and comfortable environment for millions of pilgrims, including those from conflict zones, reflects its deep commitment to its religious and humanitarian responsibilities towards the guests of God.

In closing, the Yemeni pilgrims reiterated their gratitude to the Kingdom, its leadership and people, for their hospitality and warm welcome, noting that the integrated service system, which includes security and medical personnel and volunteers, works around the clock to ensure a safe and easy Hajj experience for all, asking God to protect the Kingdom and perpetuate the blessing of security and safety upon it.
